Heart Astrology

This morning and over the last few days, I have seen a number of articles and social media posts on how the third largest cause of death and injury in the US is medical misdiagnosis. Here is a link to one if you want to read up on the subject. I do not see this as a problem per se with doctors or nurses, who do their best to heal people. They are just people, though. People are subject to the whims and difficulties of their emotions, family life, relationship life, moods, their own mental and physical health, as well as distractions that come from the outer environment. What can you do as an individual when walking into a medical system to help you have the edge? Just like with working in the market, a business, or even relationships, your timing in the medical world makes a difference.

Electional astrology is a powerful tool for medical appointments. Timing is everything, and by choosing an astrologically favorable time for your doctor’s visit, you can harmonize with the natural rhythms of the universe, improving the likelihood of clear communication and accurate diagnosis. Astrological timing helps ensure that both you and your doctor are in a mental space where you can see the root of an issue rather than getting stuck on superficial symptoms or misinterpretations. This does not mean that everything will work out, or that you can use astrology to stay healthy or avoid fates you must face, it does however mean you get the better results from approaching the health system at optimal times.

Misdiagnosis is the third leading cause of injury and death in the U.S., and this staggering fact reminds us just how important it is to get things right in the doctor’s office. Astrology gives us an edge by helping us avoid those moments where planetary energy vibrations cloud our judgment or perception. Maybe it is a news piece that was political triggering, maybe it was a fight with their spouse or children, but Mars Square or Opposed Moon can cause emotions to be too hot-headed for a doctor or surgeon to be clear during an appointment, or you for that matter.

Mercury retrograde is notorious for causing communication issues—choosing to avoid scheduling medical consultations when Mercury retrograde is aspecting the ruler of your sixth house or your ascendant can help reduce misunderstandings and oversights that lead to misdiagnosis. Similarly, electing a time when the moon is in a sign that favors health or aspects of the planet that rule your first house or sixth house favorably and healing can support a more accurate and harmonious interaction with your healthcare provider.

The art of medical astrology is a very complex and deep art. It takes dedicated study to master. Here, though, I have already laid out two easy things to watch for when you are going to the doctor. Check your chart and make sure everything is clear in the astrology. If you walk away from an appointment feeling like something might be off, also check the astrology chart, if Mercury or the Sun are in a hard aspect to Neptune, something might have been missed. You might want a second opinion.

Electional astrology isn’t a guarantee, but it is a way to tip the scales in your favor. It’s about creating a supportive environment for you and your doctor to have the clearest, most insightful discussion possible about your health. Whether it’s avoiding a misread test result or getting to the heart of a long-standing issue, using the wisdom of the stars to time your appointments can help you take charge of your health journey with intention and alignment.

If you do not know what electional astrology is, I have written more about it here.
