Ice cold Historic times
January 7th 2026 is a historic day. The Moon was in the sign of Virgo and for the first time since 810 AD when Charlemagne was Emperor of Europe and The Viking King Godfrey was raiding the coast of England demanding Silver Venus, Mars, and the Sun are in an exact conjunction in the Sign of Capricorn.
The News was bleak today, after going over it, let us look to the positive and empowering personal astrology we can all invoke. Social media’s algorithms are not meant to soothe, so we all must be on guard and develop our own capacity to empower ourselves and our communities during times of significant world political turmoil.
This fateful day saw s echoes of Empire and Piracy as the United State continued its seizing of Venezuelan oil tankers just as Viking King Godfrey of the Danes seized silver off the coast of England with his invasion of the British Isles in 810 AD. Two oil tankers were seized today in high stakes international brinkmanship, the Bella 1 and the M Sophia. The Bella 1 was empty of oil and was under Russian Military protection, so there may be more to the story than we will ever know. The M Sophia had over 2 million barrels of oil in it, two days worth of oil production for the entire nation of Venezuelan.
For historical context King Godfrey was dead before the end of the year by the hand of one of his own men and Charlemagne would be dead within 4 years without heir, what this means for Donald Trump in terms of history’s tendency to retell the same story over and over again with new actors, we will see.
As we have mentioned on this report every time Venus has been Cazimi by superior conjunction in Capricorn this century, the Iranian people have risen up against the mullah regime that is governing that nation and this continues. It is day seven of a popular uprising in Iran and two cities have become completely controlled by political opponents of the Iranian regime. It appears that four cities have fallen into anti regime protester hands as of this time. This happened three times before, in the protests of 2009 known as the “Green Revolution” and in the protests of 2018. Both times the Iranian Mullah Regime was able to regain control of the nation. Three times is a charm though, right?
In the US a tragedy unfolded as a woman was tragically shot and killed point blank by ICE agents in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Mars is violence and the law, Venus is women, and Capricorn in its most sinister form is death. Video evidence was released clearly showing what is an execution rather than an act of defense by an ICE agent. Trump, Noem of DHS, and VP Vance have quickly said the officer was injured and trying to defend himself, but the videos are quite clear that is now what happened.
How we can nurture ourselves during these times.
For us individually the Moon is in Virgo today and asks us to heal the soul through refining our routines and setting our own internal world in order. Engaging in one small improvement to our health, to our schedule, or organizing our home or workspace is favored when the Moon is in Virgo.
With the historic conjunction of Venus, Mars, and the Sun we should remember that our actions and intentions have ripple effects through our families’ lives, our lives, and our worlds lives. Setting in motion the development and empowerment of the ideas we want to see in the world and humanity is very powerful over the course of the next three months. Charlemagne’s actions set the tone for Europe for the next Millenia, and King Godfrey set the tone of England for the next 300 years. Act with intention over the next 3 months and help found enduring legacies of peace and spiritual wellbeing in your family and community. The politicians, oligarchs, and media conglomerates are a distraction from the presence of our own immediate wellbeing, which is cultivated through love and service to our own highest truth.
Chiron has stationed at 22º Aries, as a result many of us are examining and healing the wounds of being souls embodied in human form currently. With the Sun in Capricorn this means we have to bravely examine the practical truths of who we are and the world we are in. Doing so allows us each to become more present and heart centered for ourselves and those we love.
