The 60 year Chinese calendar cycle known as the Hsia Calendar begins this year on February 5th. The Hsia calendar is made of 12 animals and 5 elements. This creates a sixty year cycle that repeats itself. The Hsia calendar is a solar calendar and it always starts at the midpoint between the winter solstice and the spring equinox. A final note for the education of readers when one makes predictions in astrology, they are not fool proof. Why is this? Because astrology is a quantum problem. Time, people, and their interactions are always changing. We can never factor in all the considerations, our brains are human, not divine. Sometimes predictions are really good. This is grace entering the astrologers mind or allowing for a receptivity from the person reading the article. Sometimes the predictions are not right, this means the astrologer did not look deep enough, or circumstances changed. So please always take astrology as a guide for how to look at the world and reflect on it, but do not concretize it into hard realities that you worry about.
