The Moon is in Cancer today causing me to have a big heart full of feelings. Some of my feelings are a certain angst over the upcoming presidential election. One can not be 100% certain of any outcome, even from an astrological perspective, because the factors that contribute to any final result are infinite and ancient. It is said that only a Buddha knows all of the infinite factors that contribute to any interdependent result, and who the next President of the United States will be is the result of the interdependent karma of 330 million people, if not 8 billion people. That being said it is now, and has been for thousands of years, an expectation that astrologers will forecast who the next leader of the nation will be. The following is my forecast, and, to be clear, I admit I am biased towards Kamala Harris emotionally and politically, so if there is an error, it comes from that bias, not because astrology does not work.
My Initial Prediction
I made my initial prediction for the 2024 race on April 18th 2020, it can be found publicly on Twitter. Here it is. I was speaking to the idea that if she was selected as the Vice President in 2020 she would probably become the President in 2024.
The Reasons I said that in 2020 I outline below in the chart analysis I did back then, but have posted here. I was not looking at Trump’s chart back then, as I did not know if he would be the Republican Candidate. A challenge in this election cycle is that Harris and Trump share a number of sensitive points that are mutually receiving transits that are beneficial on Tuesday November 5th 2024. However Secondary Progressions and Time Lords give victory to Kamala Harris in my opinion.
First, the chart for election day:
The first thing that catches my eye is that the Moon is in Capricorn. I like this because it indicates that we come out of a lot of turmoil, deception, and speculation into a situation where what is true is known quickly. Mars has passed Pluto, so I do not see any significant violence occurring. Saturn is trine the Sun, bringing stability and guard rails to the vote. Saturn here is retrograde, which means there will still be court shenanigans and attempts at legal maneuvering, but based on this chart I expect the winner on election day will be the winner, no matter how much subterfuge is employed.
In the following charts I will be counting factors that I think are significant to give a total of why I think one candidate has an edge over another. A tricky thing this election is that Trump and Kamala both have sensitive points located in the same area of the chart.
Kamala on Election day:
Here Kamala has Jupiter conjunct her Ascendant in Gemini (+2) expanding her sense of self in the world. Venus conjunct her South node and her Part of Fortune (+2) which is the harvesting of previous good fortune on this day, and support from women. Venus is natally in her 4th house, thus it is a place of support that comes to her aid. Mars is square her Moon and Sun, but it is not only past aspect but out of sign, I see this as a frustration from Trump, but not one that can effect the outcome. Saturn station on her Chiron, opposing her Uranus and Pluto, indicates to me that she will be taking on a burden that will disrupt her home life (duh +1).
Her Firdaria (Planetary Periods) is a Venus/Mars period activating Venus, which rules her 10th house of becoming a ruler by daytime triplicity. It also rules the transiting Venus that aligns with her nodal aspect that week (+1) Now astute astrologers will say, but this is a night sect chart, and behold, Mars rules her 10th by virtue of being the nighttime triplicity ruler of water signs. Check! (+1) Being in a Mars Firdaria it shows the tremendous amount of work and effort she has put into the campaign, but also shows what a combative and intense experience it has been.
Her Secondary Progressed chart significantly has her SP sun sextile her natal Sun and trine her natal Moon. (+1). Her Solar Arc directed chart has her Ascendant Trine her south Node and conjunct her North Node, indicating a rise to power (+1). It also has Venus sextile Natal Venus, and Mars Sextile natal Mars, hence… rise to power (+1)
She is an annual profection year of the 1st house, ruled by Mercury that will be direct and square Mercury on election day. (+1) She is in a peak Zodiacal Releasing Spirit period free from malefics. (+1). In total, I am giving her 12 points based on my calculation for how her chart is exalting at this time.
Lets look at Trump:
Using the same weighting criteria, how does Trumps chart play out? He also has Jupiter in a good place on election day conjunct the North Node and Sun (+2) Mars has moved into his first house by whole sign but does not aspect any critical points in his chart, so it is negligible. Venus aspects Trumps south Node and Moon (+2). You see, I told you Trump and Kamala have similar chart aspects, which makes delineation a challenge. However, in Trump’s chart the Venus is showing something a little different, it is showing past karma with women coming to him as hidden enemies. This is because the Venus is in the 12th house natally. That is what it gives to him, 12th house matters. The Saturn station does not aspect anything of significance in the Trump’s Chart, though, so there is not a solidifying of his situation on election day.
Trump’s Firdaria is in a Sun Mercury period. This is a time when he is intensely focused on himself. The location of Mars on election day, as well as the nature of the Sun to exalt in Aries, makes me think that if he loses, he will move to another country. Mercury, while being direct, does not aspect any critical part in his chart, so he does not reach him on this day to help him. The same can be said of the Sun. The Firdaria is not supporting Trump ascending to power on this day.
Trump’s Secondary Progressed chart reveals only that the Secondary Progressed Moon is Square his natal Pluto in the first house, which does not, to me, indicate any benefit of power but rather a deep emotional struggle with his family and country. The Solar Arc direct chart has his MC conjunct Pluto, indicating a period of despair is about to come upon him. However, we also find the Sun sextile natal Mercury, which is positive (+1). Solar Arc Neptune is conjunct with his South Node, which is a period of despair and delusion. The whole Solar Arc chart is really dark, if he wins, it will be a dark time for all of us. If he loses, it will be a dark time for him.
Finally, Trump’s Profection year is a 7th-house Saturn Aquarian year. With Pluto moving into Aquarius, he is going to go through a major change in who his partners are. Since Saturn is stationed in the 8th house, this does not offer him support for the election. Trumps Zodiacal Releasing from Spirit has him entering an exaltation period Nov 21st which is square his natal Mars, his out of sect malefic, and this does not afford him a period of great power.
By the factors I use, Trump gets 5 points towards attaining the exaltation of becoming President.
It is my conclusion so far that Kamala has more working for her to become President astrologcally than Trump. This is by a factor of 2:1. I would be surprised if the results were not clear by the end of election day.
